As most of you know Gowran people are horse racing mad! So when Gold Cup winning Jockey, Paul Townend, called in to our Wednesday Evening Social on the 27th March, it caused great excitement.
Paul was good enough to bring his prize cup from the day and while standing for photos with everyone, he let us know what it was like to be a top jockey.
Paul told us about his daily routine and how he was currently leading the race for Champion Jockey 2019.
