Fundraising

Gowran Parish Enterprise Group trading as Dalton House Day Care is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. Core funding which covers staffing costs is provided by Pobal and day to day running of the centre is provided by traded income and a grant from the H.S.E.

However, Dalton House Day Care Centre relies heavily on the generosity of local individuals and groups for necessary funds to maintain the level of care provided and towards the centre’s upkeep.

The Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising sets out the Commitment to Donors. This includes the commitment that Dalton House Day Care Centre will inform donors and prospective donors that it complies with the Statement. Dalton House Day Care Centre may also devise a summary of that commitment in the form of a Donor Charter.
